THE WILLIE IS FOR SALE
only offers above $80k will be considered at this time.  if an
offer is made and accepted, a $8,000 deposit will be required at
the time of the acceptance.  you or your representative are
strongly urged to visit the willie before making any offer.  the
remainder will be due within 30 days.  i will require these 30
days to vacate the boat and move furnishings from the boat
and storage facility to california.  you will receive a notorized
bill of sale.  the sale will be as-is, where-is and final.  a trip
reimbursement of $1,000 will be taken off the price of the boat if
the eventual buyer had visited the boat beforehand.

prior to making an offer, have your finances lined up.  don't
make an offer and then later say you can't get or lost the
money, your wife broke her leg or you lost your job or your dog
is scared of the boat, etc.   this is all homework you must do on
your end.  i will not finance the boat.  however, of course i will
assist as much as i can to help the deal go thru.  and if
something truly unavoidable comes up or if the purchase
becomes untenable for some unforseen circumstances, i
reserve the right to cancel the sale and return your deposit.  if
the sale falls thru, your deposit will of course be returned. note
that this marina requires a minimum of liability insurance on
boats.  liability-only insurance often does not require a recent
survey.  full coverage insurance almost always requires a
survey within the last 5 years, more or less depending on the
insurance company.

right of reimbursement:

this transaction is to as comfortable and worry-free as possible.
if you buy the boat and take it to the yard within 1 month after
paying for it in full, and some previously-unknown and
serious
situation (i.e:  a condition that seriously affects its condition or
seaworthyness or saleability) arises that has not already been
addressed in this website or previously pointed out by me, you
will have the right to be reimbursed up to a maximum of
$10,000 for any possible mandatory additional work.   i must
concur with you or your representative about any such
possible issues and the amount of reimbursement, if any, will
be solely at my discretion.  you are encouraged to arrange an
in-water survey or visit the boat before before making any offer.

if the boat does not sell by february 2010 at the latest, i will be
taking the boat to the
boatyard for a bottom sandblast/paint
job, zincs, seacocks replacement, limited-condition survey, hull
ultrasound and other work. if you are interested in the boat you
may want to wait until then to
visit and/or make an offer.  please
note however that the willie is subject to sale or withdrawal
from the market at any time without a deposit already in place.

a note to all you schemers, day trip dreamers, tire kickers,
bullshitters, con artists, players and the like.  do not waste my
time with your fantasies or scams. serious lookers only !!!!
serious lookers mean those who are seriously looking for a
boat AND have the finances to back up the purchase.  if you
don't have both the desire to possibly own the boat and the
money, please don't bother to make contact.  open house are
on sundays by appointment only unless other arrangements
have been made.  no children visitors under 12 on boat unless
closely supervised.
                                                         TRADES

comparative value high-end diesel a or c class rv, low miles,
minimum 30 foot may be considered as a possible trade, partial or
otherwise.  but please do not offer to trade your 30 year old $2,000
winnebago or bus for my boat, it won't work.
